In order to make the game function more fluidly with the forums, I have made a windows based front end.
What this does is lets you have a central HUB for the site. Having multiple areas and information from the site at your fingertips on one screen.
Using advanced technology known as "a window", you can now move around, resize, minimize or customize the windows to your own liking.
The windows given are windows for your basic stats. This appears on the top left.
The news window appears at the top middle and will always show the most recent news article.
On the top right are the time window, and a snapshot of every item in your inventory.
In the middle you will see the main forum window so you can continue to use the forums as well as a window for the chat, Letting you chat while using the site at the exact same time!
You can of course close, minimize and move the windows around to your liking if you want.
Also, if you close some windows you will see a background AVPVM image in red. This is the default background image. You can however change this to whatever you like.
In your profile area, you can link to a new image if you like:
Simply input the URL to the image and save your profile. Keep in mind you may want the image to be roughly the same size as your screen resolution. If your monitor is set to 1024x768, get an image roughly that size. Only you will see it, so it wont be an eyesore for anyone else.
Over time, there may be more additions or tweaks to the interface area. Such as other windows added.
As usual if you really do not like the, you can always keep the same URL to the site and use that instead:
http://www.avpvm.com/forums/However this will enable people to multitask on one screen.
